Schedules and tasks
How bananabay schedule and task views support routine planning during beta.
Schedules and tasks help make daily state visible. They are planning aids, not emergency or safety systems.
Schedule views
Use schedule views to check wake, lights-out, sleep, recovery, and time-related settings. Schedule blocks are timing structure, not task routines. If the schedule conflicts with a calendar, appointment, medication, job obligation, or other real-world requirement, use the authoritative source outside bananabay.
Task views
Use task views to configure routines, track routine work, and manage small follow-ups. Keep task names direct and specific. A useful task says what needs to happen without turning the title into a paragraph.
Good task names:
- Restock oats
- Review freezer inventory
- Confirm Tuesday appointment time
Less useful task names:
- Figure everything out
- Make life better
- Do all food stuff
Notifications and status
If notifications or task status appear late, missing, or duplicated, treat the visible record as a prompt to verify the real situation. Do not rely on the app as the only reminder for something that matters.
Settings
Schedule, task, time, and weather behavior can be adjusted from settings. Settings should reflect how you actually use the app, not an ideal workflow you will not maintain.
